Roman Pines

I visited my brother-in-law when he still had a Casale (converted farmhouse) in the countryside outside Rome near a small town called Orte.

I loved the curve of the road and the Roman pines; I added the two children from imagination since I did not have any people in my original photograph. I wanted to capture the light and sense of exhilaration in the road wending its way to possible adventures for those children.
